Lots of nice upgrades from the last version but the basket is made much cheaper than the last one. That's not the issue, however. The problem is that the diameter of the new basket is larger than the V2 and this is preventing it from being a direct replacement when the sub is recess mounted. If you aren't recess mounting the sub, this shouldn't affect you. This sub has an upgraded spider and is using a different adhesive. The spider adhesive is what fails on the V2 when it gets old so this is a welcome change. If I ever get it mounted, I expect this one to last many years like the V2 did.

Rated 3 stars due to missing items on my order. Customer service can be improved but all was understandable and was in communication at all times. Overall products work well as expected. Thank you NVX for carrying decent products.

I have 2 12's at 2 ohm going to a taramps 2000 amp (going over to big boss) they eat it up. It's the 3 set up I've have had and it's the best. I'm a independent dealer/ installer and I wish I could sell theses they are gold and can't wait to see the new X series

This sub is awesome to say the least , performs better than it looks .. smashes the lows while still kicking you in the face with the 40-60 range ! I was previously running a deaf bonce machete Fight R which is nothing to snooze on but this actually gets louder not even broken in all the way .. waiting to see full potential in the near future. Probably going to purchase a second and run 2 !
